The phone is expected to be used by agent Nomi in the forthcoming instalment of the James Bond franchise. Nokia had been giving hints and clues regarding a 5G device, as it talked up the opportunity of releasing a more affordable 5G smartphone in partnership with Qualcomm. The new Nokia device is expected to house a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 chipset which will support 5G technology. Nokia has been able to shroud this device in secrecy, as precious little is known about it on the hardware front. A leak surfacing a while ago appeared to describe the new device as Nokia 5.2, with some other sources referring to it as the Nokia 8.2 or 8.3. A Bond-themed teaser video was released by HMD and appears to tell us a bit about this smartphone. The new Nokia device could have a 21:9 aspect ratio display, and is expected to have a large battery that can keep the phone running for 2 days. With little else known about the device, it will be interesting to see what other features this Nokia smartphone would possess on its launch.   References
